The route passes through the villages of Preveza but also the springs and the estuaries of the river Acheron.

Ancient Nikopolis was discovered in 31 B.C. by Octavian Augustus in honor of his victory over Antony and Cleopatra in the naval battle of Aktio. The city housed about 300,000 inhabitants.

Ostensive points of interest are Ancient Nikopolis, ancient theater of Kassopi, Zalongo monument, fountains and estuary of Acheron (necromancy).

Tour time is about 4 – 8 hours.

Along the way there will be a swim and lunch stop at the beaches of Preveza’s Prefecture.

The guided tour is suitable for family groups.
