Arachthos river, “otter” path.
The route start at Plaka's historical bridge which was built in 1866 and ends at Tzaris' bridge, with no elevation differences.
The area belongs to the Pan-European Network of Protected Areas (NATURA 2000), with wildlife shelters, mainly otters (Lutra lutra), brown bears (Ursus arctos) and wild goats (Rupicapra rupicapra balcanica).
Also the area is known for its traditional settlements.

Equipment: mountain sports shoes or hiking boots, waterproof jacket, canteen and backpack.
